French chefs battle it out for Trophy in Paris

Each year, a competition of great prestige in the culinary world takes place:  the Trophée National de Cuisine in Paris.

Six professional chefs competed for the coveted first place. They must prepare a two course meal for eight, which requires much experience and flair.

The candidates must prepare dishes set by the judges. They intrepret the recipe to their own style but it’s all about impressing the judges.

The competition is run by L’Académie Culinaire de France, created in 1883 and the oldest academy of chefs and bakers in the World.
