The Pompidou Centre Paris, has several time paid tribute to Gerhard Richter, one of the great figures of contemporary painting.

Their support brought the German artist’s work, one of the world’s top selling living artists, to the French public. Their Panorama retrospective at the Centre Pompidou brought together a selection of 150 major works by Gerhard Richter.

The artist was born in 1932 and his work spans several decades. He designed a label for Chateau Mouton Rothschild, and his work can be seen around the world
