Bonjour, I hope that you had a great Christmas, fun and time to relax.
I managed to take a day off, a real rarity for me. As a travel writer I never really stop, taking photos, taking notes, sharing on Instagram as I go or posting to Facebook and Twitter, it’s both my job and my passion.
I had family staying and friends visit for Boxing Day which is an English tradition – they don’t have Boxing Day (a public holiday in the UK) in France, it’s just a normal working day after Christmas. Everything was going really well until I suddenly remembered that I had forgotten to get the turkey out of the freezer! Thank goodness it was a normal day as I had to dash to our local supermarket to get something for dinner!
This week the website has a new header designed by Perry Taylor, a wonderful artist who lives in south west France. His lovely drawings are typical of rural France, just perfect for The Good Life France – take a look and let me know what you think!
I’d like to thank you all, each and every one of you for your many emails, for following me and sharing my travels and my life with me on social media, for posting your photos, tips and advice on Facebook and for all of your support, I can’t tell you how much it means, how grateful I am and how much I appreciate it.
