Everything You Want to Know About France and More...

Newsletter January No. 1

Bonne annee

Dear friends and readers of The Good Life France

We’d like to wish you a very happy New Year and hope that 2013 brings you success, good health, and happiness.

We have an absolutely amazing editorial line up for this New Year – interviews with authors, cake makers, chefs, artisans, wine experts and so much more. We have book reviews coming up, guest blogs, real life experience stories, news and views, festivals and events, places to go and things to do and see in Paris and in the north, south, east and west of France!

Bringing in the end of the year we had some great stories – one of our personal favourites was the tale of the artisan jam makers in rural France – and not just because we got to eat lots of jam!

We also bought you Vintage Paris – how and where to shop for those vintage couture bargains, a fabulous recipe for galette des rois from Julia’s Pantry, loads of lovely photographs of Christmas markets in France, news snippets and a new events listing for January and February – the other months are being updated as we speak.  I’ve blogged about everything and anything French – from what it would be like to have dinner with Louis XIV to how eating Roquefort cheese can make you more beautiful (allegedly!).

We always welcome your feedback and suggestions to help us improve the website and bring you interesting features so please feel free to contact us via the site, Facebook or Twitter.

Bonne année à tous et à toutes!

A bientôt

Janine
