Bonjour tout le monde!

Big welcome to new subscribers to The Good Life France newsletter and welcome back to everyone else.

This newsletter comes from our offices in Pas-de-Calais where we are currently enjoying a bit of an Indian summer and long may it last after such a wet August!

The Good Life France has had a bumper week publishing loads of great articles and we’ve been especially fortunate to have had lots of really great features in our Real Life Experiences section:

American expat Lindsey Kent who takes the most beautiful photos of visitors in Paris – on honeymoon, on a romantic holiday or just having fun in the City of Lights tells how she came to be in Paris where she started a new career…

Mandy Lister from Britain who runs a very British business in France – a  fish and chip van in Brittany much to the delight of British and a growing number of French clients, she talks about where the idea came from and how she dealt with the authorities to set it all up…

We introduced the lovely Deni and Doug who are joining the Good Life France writing team. When they bought a house in Creuse, Limousin it was featured on a UK TV programme called “Grand Designs” and they became stars as milions watched them restore the wrecked manor house to its former glory doing a great deal of the work themselves. They now run Chez Jallot gites and chambres d’hôtes…

Coming up we’ve got  loads more great articles about people who’ve moved to France or who have set up business – from Treasure Hunts at the Louvre to camps in the Mountains, from Gites in Brittany to horse refuges in the Dordogne and so much more…

We have guest blogs, news features, holiday guides, regional guides, daily life information and tips and lots more – the content changes daily and you can keep up with it through our Facebook and Twitter posts – we’d love to have you join us!

Next week we’ll be introducing Julia’s Pantry – a new food writer who has joined our team and who loves to combine the best of French and British goods – particularly cakes!

We’re really excited too to be finalising another new member to our writing team – he’s an expert builder who has worked in both London and France and he’s going to be writing about building projects in France and giving lots of tips and know how information – watch this space!

I’ve been to Alsace in the last week or so – an absolutely beautiful region of France. The most wonderful architecture, picturesque wine route, fabulous food and chateaus galore – check out my blogs and great photos!

Until next time mes amis…

A bientôt
