Everything You Want to Know About France and More...

Now that’s a parking charge

€30,000.  That is the current bill facing a French driver who left his car in a theatre car park in Luxembourg.

The absent minded driver parked his car in the Capucins Theatre car park three years ago and has not returned.  Enquiries have been made to trace the driver but to no avail.

The owner of the Theatre told L’Essential he would agree to a reduction in charges and allow the owner to pay a reduced annual subscription fee of €3,000 but he thinks the outstanding fee is greater than the value of the car.

Meanwhile the car sits undisturbed, accruing charges at €26.90 per day.

We wonder where he is, Perhaps he is dozing through a bad production of Hamlet?
