Everything You Want to Know About France and More...

Paris Pink Bra Bazaar, Barging in Burgundy, French language skills and lots more!

bon weekend from france

The sun has been out all week in my part of France – the birds are singing, trees are blossoming and the sky is blue.  That’s good news for the Pink Bra Bazaar team in Paris, they promote good health for women in the fight against breast cancer and their charity is hosting a bra toss in Paris on Sunday 16th March. Yes you did read that right! They want as many people as possible to join them at 15h in Paris at the Esplanade du Trocadero in front of the Eiffel Tower where dozens of Burlesque dancers, a musical director and choreographer will coordinate a dance to the sound of “Happy”. It promises to be a lot of fun so if you’re around – drop in and join in!

Here at my old house in France I’ve been nursing a sick chicken! The poor thing has hurt her leg so she’s been in the chicken infirmary (AKA a dog cage!) and I’ve been spoiling her with little titbits all week. My three dogs are loving this weather – on our morning walk they are so joyful as they run around the fields regardless of the muck that’s been spread in anticipation of the crops to be grown! My five cats are very happy with this lovely warmth and spend all day lying in the sun with an occasional game of chase.

Long may this weather last because I’ve got a fair bit of travel coming up and I’ll tell you more about that soon.

Don’t forget we’re holding a writing competition, submit a 1000 word post about France and you could win a 10 week online creative writing course – a brilliant prize.

In the meantime I hope you enjoy the fabulous articles we’ve published this week. We post every day, there’s always something new to read and we’d love you to share your favourite stories (there are share buttons at the end of every feature).

With best wishes,

Bon weekend!
