Meanwhile, in a couple of weeks’ time, I am off to Champagne to visit the historic city of Reims, Epernay – the former home of Dom Perignon – and the effervescent village of Ay! I’ve never been to Champagne when it’s the festive season and I’m looking forward to sharing the Christmassy sights with you on Instagram (join me here: @thegoodlifefrance) – can you believe it’s only a month until Christmas?!
