Main Street USA at Disneyland in Paris is an imitation American high street of the early 20th Century with wide boulevards, lined with shops and places where you can buy snacks and sweets including an old fashioned ice cream parlour and real American style hot dogs. There are horse drawn carriage rides down the main thoroughfare into Disneyworld Paris and at the end of the road Sleeping Beauty’s castle beckons…
The Disneyworld Railway Station is very popular so be prepared to queue to get on this particular ride.
Attractions of Main Street USA
Disneyland Railroad – ride on a narrow guage steam train – you can get off in diferent parts of the park or go on a full circuit.
Horse-Drawn Streetcars – as it say, a gentle ride in old fashioned street car pulled by Pecheron horses, a large breed of French horse. If you see a space just get on one as they are always full!
City Hall and Liberty Arcade – covered area – basically for when its raining (which it does in Paris a fair bit)
Discovery Arcade – learn about inventions of the 20th Century in a covered area (great if its raining)
Main Street Vehicles – ride on an old fire engine, trolley bus and various other types of vehicles – we saw lots of Dads really enjoying these rides!
